Ticked Off! @Orange juice lids

I am ticked off that doctors’ offices expect patients to be on time, if not early, yet they do not keep the same. In fact, they are cavalier about the time they finally see you. They ask you to pay if you cancel the appointment too late. Shouldn’t they pay the patient if they are late for the appointment?
So, what’s so bad about “young homeowners turning into their parents” as that curmudgeonly insurance “counselor” alleges?  That sells insurance about as wisely as an animated gecko, a “mayhem” accident stuntman, an emu or the Kansas City Chiefs QB.
I am ticked off at the writer who seemingly doesn’t understand the real estate development business. Behind every developer is an investor who simply weighs risk versus return on investment. If and when any proposed development can’t meet an acceptable return due to impact fees, construction costs, insurance, taxes and interest rates, then it’s a no-go and apparently there aren’t a lot of folks able to make that all work in Winter Park, let alone the rest of Central Florida.
Can anyone explain why it should take a vise to remove an orange juice lid? We buy Tropicana Grovestand juice and in the last year, we can never open a new container without having to get a vise from my husband‘s workshop. We are not weak people and traditional methods of opening a new lid do not work.

The flip side

Thank you to Gene Simmons from the band KISS who is co-founder of the restaurant Rock & Brews on South Semoran by the airport for providing padded and very comfortable chairs to watch several hours of a long football game on their very large televisions.
