A man was charged last week with the sexual assault of a young child in Bergen County, officials said.
Bernardo Velazco, 52, of Cliffside Park, was charged on Tuesday, Dec. 12, following a report that he sexually assaulted the child in Farview, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. He has not yet been arrested and is considered a fugitive, a news release from the office said.
